 Mardi Gras Celebration on February 5!!!

 Come celebrate!  We will have beads, tables covered with bright Mardi Gras colors, and possibly a King Cake!!!  If you can, let’s have fun with masks or costumes (although not necessary). Music will be Mardi Gras themed as we get ready for the real Mardi Gras later in February!!!

Don Baggett with be the DJ and dance teacher on February 5. Time: 4 to 7 PM

Update: Dennis Stroughmatt will be at the Mega Event Hall March 5th

The schedule will be as follows:

  • 5 to 5:45 PM: Free Introductory Dance Lesson
  • 5:45 to 8:20 PM:  Dancing

The cost will be $25 online, $30 at the door –note that attendance will be limited to the first 100.  Information will be going out soon on purchasing tickets. 

The ACZA has gratefully received $563 in donations towards the March 5 dance.  Please continue to donate at the February 5 dance. Help us keep live Cajun, Creole, and Zydeco music in Atlanta!

April 16 will be the first DJ dance after Dennis Stroughmatt, with the regular schedule.

We have a number of people in our community with illness. Please keep the following in your thoughts and prayers: Bonnie Lunceford, Rosylyn Page and Doug Landsburg.

We also extend our sympathy to Jean Guard on the loss of her daughter Hillary.

 On Sunday the complex has two restaurants:

  • Phở Việt Number One 2 (Vietnamese)(Open until 10 PM)
  • Kettlerock Brewing (closes at 7 PM)
Or you can bring your own food and drink.

The ACZA will be providing a water cooler filled with ice and cups.
